Clothes- 18 month- 2T

Activity- This little man is into everything!! He loves to be outside
Words: His vocabulary has really taken off. It seems that he learns a new word every few days. Some of my favorites are for our dog Winnie "Win-wee" and Please "peessss", and "liiigghts" for the christmas lights, and Kris taught him to say "little babies" explaining to him that I take care of little babies at work. So Cute!

Tanner is just the sweetest little boy. He melts my heart with all the kisses and hugs he gives. I want to remember his sweet little wave bye-bye and the way his blows kisses to everyone when we leave.

Decorating for Christmas

We are so excited to decorate our house for Christmas. Its our first Christmas in the house so Kris wanted to go all out with the lights.

Diaper Cake Fun

Yesterday 11/17 my friends Ashley and Corrie came over and we worked on a diaper cake for another friends baby shower coming up. Our sweet friend Jenni is having a boy and is naming him Camden. She decided to go with a cute woodland creatures theme for his room so we decided to carry that over to her diaper cake. This was my first experience making one and I had so much fun! It was alot easier than I thought it would be and I will defiantly be making these in the future for friends.

We decided to do a 4 tier cake and we used a cool tree branch from hobby lobby as our center dowel. We used a case and a 32 pack of newborn diapers for the cake.

                           Hot gluing the ribbon around

                            "C" for Camden

We added a little brown crinkle cut paper and it really made the cake look finished.

Of course we had to add the cutest little boy hightop shoes hanging from a branch.

Family Day

We had such a fun day today! We took Tanner for his 18 month pictures this morning and he did so great! The photographer got so many good shots it was hard for us to choose which ones to print.
Here are the ones we picked
He looks so big to me here.

I am obsessed with this sweater!!! - Janie and Jack

Next we went to Mi Cocina for lunch-my favorite!

Then we headed to Northpark to see the trains and do a little window shopping.

Thanksgiving 2014

We had a great Thanksgiving. This was my first year with it off since I started working as a nurse. I finally earned enough seniority to have a holiday off! YES!!!!
We had a very busy day running the Turkey Trot and visiting family.

My first attempt at pecan pie was a success thanks to Pioneer Woman.

Here is the recipe I followed.

I think everything she makes is so yummy. There are several recipes I want to try soon.

The Turkey Trot was great but the weather was a little cold. Once we started running we warmed right up. I defiantly need to run more because my time was very slow, but it was my first race since having Tanner so at least I did it!

I need to be better about taking more pictures with family but here are a few I got from the day
